Meetings are held every third Monday of the month. Time and location varies depending on time of year, whether or not there’s a potluck beforehand, and the preference of the person leading the discussion. Meetings are in-person and/or on Zoom.

The Glade Women’s Book Group has been meeting each month since 2004. We read all types of books and the discussions are lively. Book group members have the opportunity to volunteer to choose a book each year and lead the discussion. We have a “check-in” with each other at the beginning of each meeting to share personal news before the book discussion begins. There have been months when, in lieu of our usual meeting, we have gone to see a movie or have eaten out at a restaurant together. December meetings often include a Christmas party and a collection is taken to donate to a Glade Church ministry or other local charitable organization.
